Lesley Brighton

FNTP, PC, Advanced Nutrition Response Testing Practitioner

Lesley found her purpose when she found Nutrition Oregon 11 years ago. Within weeks of employment she saw what she believed were miracles happening with the clients and she knew one day she would do this work. Thus began the journey of reading everything she could get her hands on, assisting Nutrition Oregon founder Dr. Popp, and marketing the office, all of which inspired her go back to school and pursue her Nutritional Therapy Practitioner certificate as well as completing the Advanced Clinical Training for Nutrition Response Testing. When she isn’t working she is enjoying every moment she can with her family on the lake jet skiing, paddle boarding and boating. She is an avid runner and loves pounding the pavement with her best friends.

Lesley has always been interested in health. Prior to Nutrition Oregon, horses had been Lesley’s passion. She was an Advanced Clinical instructor and certified horseback riding instructor. She traveled to a part of the nation certifying instructors, which is what brought her to Oregon from Canada. She also graduated with an Equine Studies Certificate and during her studies at Equestrian College she loved studying nutrition and especially equine anatomy, physiology and massage therapy. Understanding the mechanics of the horse’s body and how nutrition affects its function and movement was just a stepping stone to working with in nutrition with people. The one thing she loved most was how horses helped to heal the emotional, spiritual and even physical components of a person.

Being a Nutrition Response Testing practitioner fills that same passion for Lesley. Seeing how nutrition affects, heals and gives people their purpose back brings Lesley a joy that is indescribable. She believes that this modality of testing is truly a gift. Long term health issues are resolved. Auto-immune disease is being reversed, kids’ emotional balance is being restored, allergies are gone, and chronic health is improved. Hope is alive!

She looks forward to meeting you, serving you, and seeing you restore your health and hope.

I am committed to helping you through this process of restoring your body to your optimal health, wellness and vitality.

Nutrition Response Testing, which consists of Clinical Nutrition & Muscle Testing, is an invaluable tool we use to test and discover the state of the body’s nervous system. This allows us to find the nutritional deficiencies that are preventing your body from healing and find exactly what it needs to restore your health.

My journey with nutrition began about 19 years ago when my health & my 3 girls health were struggling with digestive issues, gluten, corn (at the time corn only had 32 names), preservatives, dairy, added colors and reduced sugar. We were introduced to Muscle Testing and Acupuncture during this time. All of us experienced overall health, stronger immune systems, more energy, happier moods, quality sleep & increased appetites. A drastic improvement from where we began!

In 2015, I decided helping others achieve optimal health was my passion and graduated as Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach and a Certified Gluten-Free Practitioner.

I am excited you are here and trust us with your health. I look forward to working with you as you work to achieve optimal health.

Megan is a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, with a specialty in digestive issues and food sensitivities. She is a native Oregonian and has a passion for cooking, baking, gardening, being outdoors and traveling. She also loves spending time with her husband, their 2 dogs and all of their friends and family.

As a Functional Nutritional Therapist, Megan uses a whole-body approach, teaching healthier eating and lifestyle habits as well as the importance of sleep, stress management, mindset, exercise, safer household products and cleaner cosmetics. She believes that unresolved symptoms are typically a downstream cause of other root symptoms. Her goal is to figure out those causes and to help the body heal from the inside out. By looking at the system as a whole, she is able to figure out what’s causing your symptoms and why.

Megan has struggled with her own health problems like digestive issues, multiple food sensitivities, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, lack of energy, headaches and more. She learned how to naturally manage these areas of her health through years of practice, listening to her body, lots of research, supplemental support, dietary and lifestyle modifications, lab testing, as well as outside support and guidance.

Megan would love to help you break free from the vicious symptom-cycle and start living your best and healthiest life. If you are feeling lost, confused and frustrated, like there is no light at the end of your tunnel, that ends today! Your uncomfortable symptoms CAN be a thing of the past! Megan is going to show you how to stop surviving and start thriving! Are you ready?
