Lesley found her purpose when she found Nutrition Oregon 11 years ago. Within weeks of employment she saw what she believed were miracles happening with the clients and she knew one day she would do this work. Thus began the journey of reading everything she could get her hands on, assisting Dr. Popp, and marketing the office, all of which inspired her go back to school and pursue her Nutritional Therapy Practitioner certificate as well as completing the Advanced Clinical Training for Nutrition Response Testing. When she isn’t working she is enjoying every moment she can with her family on the lake jet skiing, paddle boarding and boating. She is an avid runner and loves pounding the pavement with her best friends.
Lesley has always been interested in health. Prior to Nutrition Oregon, horses had been Lesley’s passion. She was an Advanced Clinical instructor and certified horseback riding instructor. She traveled to a parts of nation certifying instructors, which is what brought her to Oregon from Canada. She also graduated with an Equine Studies Certificate and during her studies at Equestrian College she loved studying nutrition and especially equine anatomy, physiology and massage therapy. Understanding the mechanics of the horses body and how
nutrition affects it’s function and movement was just a stepping stone to working with people. The one thing she loved most was how horses helped to heal the emotional, spiritual and even
physical components of a person.
Being a Nutrition Response Testing practitioner fills that same passion for Lesley. Seeing how nutrition affects, heals and gives people their purpose back brings Lesley a joy that is indescribable. She believes that this modality of testing is truly a gift, something special. Long term health issues are resolved. Auto-immune disease is being reversed, kids emotional balance is being restored, allergies are gone, and chronic health is improved. Hope is alive!
She looks forward to meeting you, serving you and seeing you restore your health and HOPE
Dr. Popp graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1973. He has been practicing in Woodburn since 1976, and has been in his current location since 1979. He is very thankful for all God’s blessings on his family and business and has been fortunate to serve many families, some who have been clients since the very beginning.
During the past nearly four decades, Dr. Popp has continued to expand his knowledge and expertise in the area of nutritional therapy which has included much traveling to some incredible workshops in order to stay on the cutting edge of natural and alternative healing.
He has dedicated his life to addressing the health of men, women and their families. Through Nutrition Response Testing he has helped thousands of patients restore their health, many times even after the most dismal news from their doctors.
I was born and raised in Dallas, Oregon and graduated from Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing in 2003. Over years of working as a Registered Nurse in both the hospital and private clinics, I have seen firsthand the desperate need for true wellness care, from prevention to addressing chronic issues. My passion for helping others heal through nutrition grew out of my own experiences and healing journey.
For years after the birth of our third daughter I continued to experience extreme fatigue, widely swinging hormones, mental fog, stomach upset and increasing, constant pain. I saw multiple medical professionals who ran loads of tests all with the same conclusion: everything looked normal. But I was tired of the struggle and just trying to survive the day to day; I wanted to thrive, enjoy my family and our life, and be a blessing to others. I started taking supplements and following the program specifically designed for me and realized that my daily health struggles did not have to be permanent. I overcame several major health challenges along the way and today feel vibrant, passionate, and full of hope that we can change the future for the better- for ourselves, for our kids, and for future generations.
When I’m not at Nutrition Oregon, my husband Mike and I love living life on a small hobby farm where we homeschool our three beautiful daughters and care for a fluctuating number of miscellaneous animals.
I was born and raised in Eastern Montana and lived there until moving to Oregon in June of 2009 after reconnecting and marrying my old high school sweetheart. I started working for Dr Roger Popp /Nutrition Oregon in the Spring of 2010. Ten years has flown by!
I was the drummer in various bands for several years, followed by working 14 years at Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center as an office manager. During those years I raised a daughter and a son who are now adults, and both live in Montana. I am also Nana to JT age 5 and Luke age 3. They bring so much love and joy to my life!
I enjoy getting together with family and friends, playing games, traveling, camping, visiting the ocean and walking on the beach, Glacier Park, photography, gardening, music, laughing. I love Jesus, my crazy family, friends, and the people I get to work with. I can’t imagine working anywhere but here at Nutrition Oregon. My coworkers and our clients make coming to work worthwhile!
I was born in SW Oregon but shortly moved to Ohio and then Alaska. My parents are educators and they were called to share their skills and passion for learning. I attended college in Anchorage and decided that Oregon was truly my home. I moved back at age 21 and quickly settled into a group of friends and a new job. I met my husband shortly after moving here. We are blessed with two beautiful and talented daughters who are now out in the world themselves. I was thrilled to be able to spend 20 years at home raising them.
During my time at home with my girls and vacations with my family I have become an avid hiker, camper, mountain biker, and traveler. I LOVE to travel!!
When our nest became empty, I was nervous about getting back into the work force. God blessed me with an open door, Dr Popp, Lesley, and Brenda. The three of them welcomed me with open arms. They taught me a better way to treat my body and how whole food nutrition can be so healing. I continue to feel blessed in my job, loving my new family at Nutrition Oregon, and our clients.
I am the fourth generation born and raised here in this beautiful Willamette valley. I love wandering in our breath-taking forests and beach combing on our magnificent ocean beaches. I enjoy hot chocolates (sugar free of course), spring flowers, reading, and moments with our Lord; traveling to new destinations, especially where there are palm trees involved; I am a Walt Disney enthusiast (all right I am an all-out fanatic). I have experienced working in the healthcare field for over 25 years. I am so grateful and blessed to have been led to Nutrition Oregon. Not only for my own personal health needs but also, I am able assist in bringing others to achieving their own health accomplishments. I enjoy going to seminars and learning more about Nutritional Response Testing as well as the other multitude of opportunities to learn within this career.
In and around the office you can find me in a myriad of positions from assisting the receptionists in the front, acquiring Heart Sound recordings, Client Advocate, and Lesley’s assistant.
